Shane Buffham
Operations Managers (Essex & Suffolk)
Shane began his career with Network Colchester as a bus driver, quickly progressing through roles to become a mentor and Relief Supervisor. He then moved to Ipswich Buses as a Supervisor, where his dedication and expertise earned him a promotion to Senior Supervisor over his five-year tenure.
With nearly a decade of experience in the transport industry, Shane briefly transitioned into the road haulage sector, managing car transporter allocations. However, his passion for public transport led him back to the industry as Operations Manager at Cambridge Dial-a-Ride.
In 2023, Shane joined Go East Anglia as Operations Manager for Konectbus. He has since taken on the role of Lead Operations Manager at Hedingham and Chambers, where he oversees operations across four depots - Clacton, Kelvedon, Sible Hedingham, and Sudbury.
Outside of work, Shane is an avid football enthusiast and a dedicated Ipswich Town supporter.
