David Ramsey
Engineering Manager (Norfolk)
David (Dave) is an experienced Engineering Manager with over 30 years’ experience in Mechanical and Electrical Automotive Engineering. Dave began his Mechanical career in the Armed Forces, serving 22 years within the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineer (REME). On leaving the Forces, Dave joined the bus industry as a contract fitter initially, before taking on a permanent role with First group in Norwich, where he progressed from a fitter on the shopfloor to Engineering Manager within 5 years.
Dave transferred to Go East Anglia in October 2018 as the Engineering Manager at the Dereham Depot. In his free time, he enjoys Moto GP and Superbikes and gets trackside whenever possible. He also enjoys anything to do with Star Wars, especially Lego and also enjoys fish keeping.
